The Calhan FFA Chapter had a great National FFA Week 2025! The officers would like to thank everyone who dressed up and helped throughout the week. We started off the week with a visit from state officers Windsor Leighty and Westen Burkhart. We delivered the coloring sheets for the elementary contest, a middle school orientation, and workshops with the state officers. We got to have dinner with the officers to end the day. Some officers got to go to the Colorado Agriculture Hall of Fame Banquet for the new inductee ceremony; we got to network with many agricultural stakeholders. On Friday, we had our annual Ag Olympics for middle and high school students. Students competed in an egg race, the farmer carry obstacle course, and tug of war! We would like to thank Cody Chambers, distributor of Total Feeds, for allowing us to use Total Feeds for the farmer carry event! We enjoyed National FFA Week and hope you did, too!
