Calhan School District is embarking on an exciting journey to chart our educational course for the next three years, and we want you-our community members, parents, and stakeholders to be part of this important conversation. Building on our recently developed Graduate Competencies, we’re launching a comprehensive strategic planning process that will shape how we prepare our students from Pre-K through 12th grade for success in their future endeavors. These six core competencies-Connected Relationships, Passionate Determination, Personal Responsibility, Resilient Adaptability, Opportunity Awareness, and Selfless Confidence-represent the fundamental skills and characteristics we believe every Calhan graduate should possess. These competencies serve as our north star. They reflect our commitment to developing academically strong students and well-rounded individuals ready to thrive in a never-changing world. Now, we need our community's input to help us create a roadmap that will bring these competencies to life in our classrooms and programs.
