Lorinda Diehl--Colorado admissions counselor for Grand Canyon University.  I have had the pleasure of working with a number of college bound students, who are considering GCU as an option in the Fall. I am reaching out today as a means to share our scholarship information with you.  We have over a million dollars in scholarships and are still in the process of awarding these to incoming students.  Because we have a rolling admissions policy we are still considering students for the Fall of 2008.    Click on the following link to learn more and obtain an application.   GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY

Attached is our scholarship application!  Please pass on to students that are still looking for a University and feel that GCU might be a good fit for them.  If there is an interest then please have them call me at 888 286 6870, as I can waive the application fee only under this circumstance.

Below you will find a “blurb” about Grand Canyon University, for your convenience;

Grand Canyon University is an accredited, private, non-denominational Christian University located in Phoenix, Arizona.  Founded in 1949 as a teachers college, Grand Canyon University prepares learners to become global citizens, critical thinkers, effective communicators and responsible learners by providing an academically challenging, values-based curriculum from the context of our Christian heritage.

Grand Canyon University’s four Colleges include the College of Liberal Arts, The College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Ken Blanchard’s School of Business and finally the College of Education. GCU boasts a highly valued morally and ethically infused education.  The student experience allows for spiritual and personal growth in a traditional college setting.  Our small class size allows for individualized attention and our acclaimed faculty are on the cutting edge in their respective fields.  Some items of note regarding GCU’s academics include no wait list for our highly acclaimed nursing program, as well as new majors in Entrepreneurship, Digital Media and Sports Management! Basketball, golf, cross country, baseball and swimming are but a few sports offered at GCU.  We have 20 sports teams that compete at the NCAA Division II level. Grand Canyon University has been regularly listed in US News and World Report and the Student’s Guide to America’s 100 Best College Buys. Grand Canyon University is a family and it is evident throughout campus, be it in Chapel, student dormitories or our student coffee house Latte Dah!

Please let me know if you like some material about GCU.
